Deposit your check from your mobile by following these steps.

Apply these tips to make a successful deposit!​

When taking a photo of the check, make sure that:​

  • It is on a flat surface

  • There is good lighting​

  • It is not blurry​

  • Endorsement includes Signature, Account Number, and “For Mobile Deposit Only”.​

After submitting the check, you will receive two emails:

  • First email: Received deposit notification.

  • Second email: Approved or declined deposit notification. If rejected, the notification includes the reason for the rejection.​

Types of checks that Depósito Expreso Móvil DOES NOT ACCEPT:

  • Checks with double endorsement ​

  • Checks not in the account holder’s name ​

  • Money orders ​

  • Traveler’s checks ​

  • Savings bonds ​

  • Copies of checks ​

  • Checks from foreign institutions

  • The funds will be available in accordance with FirstBank's Funds Availability Policy found in the Deposit Account Agreement.​

  • Any deposit made before 7:00 p.m. on business days will be processed the same day and will be available once validated and accepted by FirstBank. Subject to verification and validation of the deposit.

  • There is a limit of $10,000 per check per day; and $20,000 per month. The monthly cycle is considered from 25 working days from the date of the last deposit made through this service.​

Frequently Asked Questions

Depositing checks through Digital Banking is easy. First, you need to download the Digital Banking mobile app from the App Store or Google Play. Download the PDF for instructions on the process.

 

  • Individual checking accounts are eligible to deposit via your mobile device.

  • To find out whether or not your account is eligible, contact us at 787-725-2511 or toll-free at 1-866-695-2511.

You will receive an email notification once your deposit is received, processed, approved, or declined.

All deposits made before 7:00 p.m. on business days, it will be processed the same day and will be available once it is validated and accepted by FirstBank. Subject to verification and validation of the deposit.

 

Funds will be available according to FirstBank's Funds Availability Policy, included in the Deposit Accounts Agreement.

There is a limit of $10,000 per check, per day; and $20,000 total per month. The monthly cycle begins 25 business days after the date of the last deposit made through this service.

The service is available for mobile devices with iOS and Android operating systems.
